15th May, 2008 - New Plans

Sezure have been working and rehearsing with the new band to get everything back upto standard, and we are pleased to say it is definately getting there, the energy and talen the new members have brung to the table is nothing short of amazing, a new fire has been lit within us, and the plans will come to pass...

firstly, we are working on new material and fixing the old material as after june 14th we will be recording a 3 track demo to be showing here, and on our myspace page.. not for download however, as its pre production for bigger things.. two tracks from the EP 'Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind' are being reworked and demoed for you,.. 'Get Ready' & 'Subject To Failure' we are now tossing up which our third track will be.. either a song we normally open shows with 'Mistake' or the new one 'My Posession' but keep your ears out.. its coming....

Secondly, changes to the next release idea has been made, we originally stated a follow up EP was in the works with 4 members, however with the way things are it would be crazy for us to not showcase everyone, so we are no longer doing a follow up EP, the band's writing process and demo's that will be showing in a month or so are for our DEBUT ALBUM 'The Aftermath', so once things get pieced together we will be playing them at shows and getting everyone into them before an Album gets released...

Finally, Check Out The Bio's as Linc's will be up sometime soon!, The time has come for he new Sezure to be unveiled our first shows with the new boys are as follows...

17th April, 2008 - Karl Sidley leaves the band

Karl "Sids" Sidley called up Friday 11th April, saying he would be departing from Sezure, he has things going on outside of the band in which gives him no real time to be a full time contributing member to the band, and the plans in which they have been working on... The parting of ways was done on nothing but good terms and Karl will continue to support the band in the future.. All The Best Karl.

As Karl Exits, The band has already found a more than Suitable replacement to jump aboard, Lincoln Everett (Globe) has agreed to join Sezure on a fulltime basis, and this is nothing but good news as Lincoln is a talented guitarist in which the band has seen play live and were impressed with sometime ago.The addition to Lincoln means that the band will once again have a bigger and better stage show, some writing process and possibly a new direction for the band, which at present will only been seen at live shows.. Expect Big Things...

Sezure were in works of creating a follow up EP as Sids exited the fold, the boys have agreed it will go ahead, however with 4 members, lincoln will not be apart of the EP but will be apart of the continual writing process and be a large contributing member for the Debut Album..

The EP was set to be titled "The Aftermath", however after much talk that name will now be the Debut Album title... the EP will now be known as "A Second Coming" stay tuned as it will be available sometime soon, but will not have a set "Launch" as has been asked by several fans.

Sezure returns to the stage alot sooner than previous set gigs, we have two shows announced so we hope you can come down and support the guys and the new line up.. welcome Linc, Braydo & Mischa and there first set of live performances with Sezure....

11th February, 2008 - SeZure welcomes to the fold...

After the EP Launch on October 31st, we took an uncontrollable 3 month hiatus. Things were coming up and at at least one stage or another, certain members couldn't be available for rehearsal. So Scott Loughland decided to up and go, which was a decision he felt was best at the time. Some indisclosed issues have since arose which will not be discussed in great detail.

We set up a search for Scott's replacement, and luckily for us, within a week I began talks with a drummer from the Chatswood area. Back and forth I would give him tracks to listen to and judge - he seemed interested... Since that, he came down and has been involved in 3 very productive rehearsals, and just now the time is right to introduce him...

We would like to welcome Mischa Weissenberg to SeZure, as our new permanent drummer. We would also like to welcome Braydon 'Braydos' Greentree to the fold to stand side by side with Sids on guitar. The guy is amazing and like Mischa, he is bringing a new element to the band which we didn't have before.

We are back, and finally strong again. Now it's time to show what we are really about! Our time is coming... a SECOND coming! Go to our band section to see Braydos, Mischa, and their profiles.

This week, mp3.com.au has ranked SeZure at #6 in METAL, #14 in ROCK, and #33 in ALTERNATIVE on the charts.

On top of that, Subject to Failure reached #10 in the metal song charts, along with Get Ready at #11 and Consuming Me at #38! Thanks to everyone who supported us in getting these great results at such a well known mp3 community website! You can visit our mp3.com.au band profile HERE.
